In 2023, our community is having some incredible festivities you won’t want to miss.
Mile High 420 Festival
The first event we have on our list is the Mile High 420 Festival that will take place on Thursday, April 20th, from 1pm-10pm at Civic Center Park in Denver.
Did you know Colorado was the first state to legalize recreational cannabis? Yup! With such a unique history, the Mile High 420 Festival draws in cannabis advocates from all around the country.
For this year, the organizers of the festival are aiming to recreate what this special holiday has represented in the past. The festival will aim to continue the fight on stigma for this healing plant, and overall celebration of this industry.
This is going to be the most iconic cannabis event of the year. This event is for 21 and up only, so be sure to not bring anyone under that age. You’re invited to join as Mile High 420 celebrates the cannabis culture and the future of what continues to be a flourishing industry for our nation!
Red Rocks Shows
What’s more, there are a few ‘Lifted’ Red Rocks Amphitheatre concerts coming up in April with artists that have been incredibly influential in the cannabis industry. We knew we had to share them! Let’s dive in.
The Marley Brothers
The Marley Brothers are set to perform at Red Rocks Amphitheatre on April 19th, and we couldn’t be more excited for this show. Ziggy Marley, Stephen Marley, Damian Marley, children of the legend Bob Marley, makeup this incredible band.
Considering they’re the kids of Bob Marley, these guys have music in their blood. They’re known for their unique blend of reggae, ska, and rocksteady music; they’ve promised to bring their very best for an epic show next month.
Mark your calendars and head over to the AXS website to get your hands on some tickets. The doors will open at 5:30pm but the music won’t start until 6:30pm. All ages are welcome.
Wiz Khalifa
If you’re a fan of hip-hop and rap music, you won’t want to miss the “Wiz Khalifa & Joey Bada$$ – 420 On The Rocks” show on April 22nd at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. All ages are welcome to this show, so bring whomever you’d like.
Wiz Khalifa & Joey Bada$$ are set to headline this show together. If you’re not familiar with these artists – Wiz Khalifa is a praised rapper and songwriter who’s also been an icon in the cannabis industry. Meanwhile, Joey Bada$$ is a talented rapper, singer, and actor who’s been an innovator in the music industry.
Together, these artists will host an iconic night of music. The show will start at 6:30 PM (with doors opening at 5:30pm), and you can grab your tickets on the AXS website.
Sublime with Rome
If you’re looking for a night of ska, punk, and reggae, then mark your calendar for the Sublime with Rome show at Red Rocks Amphitheatre. On April 28th, 2023, the band will take the stage to bring you an unforgettable night.
This show is for all ages, so bring anyone and everyone along to enjoy the music with you. Doors open at 6pm and the show starts at 7pm, so be sure to arrive early to secure your spot. Tickets are available for purchase on the AXS website now.
